Fox Action Alliance Germany
└ Aktionsbündnis Fuchs
Around half a million foxes are killed by hunters in Germany every year. The red fox is one of the few native animal species that are hunted all year round in many federal states. Particularly cruel hunting practices such as burrow hunting, trap hunting or the training of hunting dogs on live foxes are also the order of the day. As a result of the lack of or much too short rest periods, many fox cubs die in agony because their parents were shot, or are themselves killed while playing in the den.
A lot of false information has always been spread about the fox and fox hunting. It is therefore important that we address as many people as possible with scientifically sound information on this topic in order to ultimately have the backing for the demand for a year-round closed season for the red fox.
